My Dear Sir;
Accompanying this you
will find any quantity of bills
and a check on Norfolk to cover
them with an additional dollar
for difference in Exchange. I thought
I had swept out New York last fall
but find that I only dream'd. You 
will have no difficulty in parting 
with the check at the Mechanics Bank.
Last Fall they chargd me 1/2 pr cent.
I hope you recd mine of the 23d enclos
ing a check of $61, to meet Int to Col
Hedges 1 March.
Since writing alone I have con
cluded not to burden this with the
accts but annex the amounts
and to whom due, viz
