Abstract: Camp Winfield Scott, Yorktown, Virginia Talks about his wife's and mother's health and comments that his health has been good since he's been in the army. "We are expecting a grand battle at Yorktown if the rebels do not run. I think they will not fight much. They commenced sheling us this morning." "...encamped within 3 or 4 miles of the rebels.
